There is no better place to discover the world than in the fresh air. It smells spicier there, everything tastes better there, you dream more deeply there. But above all, behind every pile of dishes, after every downpour and in the midst of the biggest shower of plan changes, there is always a new adventure waiting. We set out to capture that feeling that comes with everyone who moves outside. We followed rolling snail shells through the world and into happiness, we sulked in all kinds of tents on floors and roofs, we stirred pasta water in dented tin pots and wrapped ourselves in steaming, sparkling comfort around the campfire. We trudged into the wilderness with a sack and a mini pack to test which equipment is really useful when it comes to being free and dirty and wonderful - and which is just beautiful. We wanted to know: How can it be that one voluntarily cavorts around in the smallest of dwellings, shivering, stinking, causing trouble and yet still sits in the middle of the magical life.
